These Terms of Service govern your use of Forest Companion, also known as Nyxo. By using the app, you agree to these terms.

Use of the App

Forest Companion provides personal reflection, habit, ritual, mood, food analysis, and AI companion features. You are responsible for the content you create and for using the app lawfully and respectfully.

AI Features

AI-generated responses and analysis may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your situation. The app is not a substitute for professional medical, nutritional, legal, financial, or mental health advice. If you need professional support, contact a qualified professional or emergency services.

Subscriptions and Purchases

Some features may require an in-app purchase or subscription. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Subscription pricing, renewal, cancellation, and refund handling are governed by Apple's App Store terms and settings.

Eligible new subscribers may receive a three-day free trial of the annual subscription when that offer is displayed by the App Store. Unless canceled before the trial ends, the subscription converts to the annual plan at the price shown by the App Store and renews automatically. Lifetime access is a one-time purchase at the price shown by the App Store and does not renew.

Nyxo may display a time-limited promotional price after a user leaves the standard membership screen. The exact promotional price, product type, renewal terms, and availability are shown before purchase and confirmed by the App Store. When displayed for an eligible user, an annual promotional plan may include a three-day free trial, then renews yearly at its displayed price until canceled; a promotional Lifetime purchase is a one-time payment. The in-app timer is tied to the offer window for that Nyxo account on the device and continues running after the app is closed.

Paid AI features are subject to reasonable daily fair-use and anti-abuse limits. These safeguards help keep the service reliable and may prevent automated, excessive, or abusive usage without changing the purchased entitlement.

Virtual Items

The app may include virtual items, balances, rewards, or unlocks. These items have no cash value, cannot be exchanged outside the app, and may be changed or discontinued as the app evolves.

User Content

You retain ownership of the content you create. You grant us permission to process that content as needed to provide app features, sync data, generate AI responses, and operate the service.

Availability

We aim to keep the app reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Features may change, pause, or end over time.
